What You Need to Know
Browse this FAQ list to find answers to questions about our event and our community. We’ve tried to include everything, but if you still have unknowns as you’re getting acquainted, don’t hesitate to get in touch. Everyone here is eager to help out.
Is there car parking at the festival?
Yes, car parking is available on the main car park at the club. It is charged at £5 per vehicle. Card payment is the preferred option. Spectators are encouraged to car share wherever possible. Please follow the directions of the marshals.
Will lunch be provided for players at the festival?
Yes, packed lunch bags will be provided to all players. These can be picked up by a club representative from the clubhouse at any point from 10am onwards. Lunch break is scheduled for 11.15am-11.45am.
Will it be possible to purchase food and drink at the festival?
Yes, it will be possible to purchase food and drinks at the bar in the clubhouse.
There will also be a selection of vendors selling food and beverage at the festival. This will include pizzas, burger and chips, an ice cream van, and a coffee van - all offering a variety of meals and snacks.
Can we bring chairs and gazebos to the festival?
Yes, there is a tented village on the second team pitch behind the scoreboard – where you are welcoming to set up tents/gazebos and camping chairs or fold up chairs.
Will there be photographers at the festival?
Yes, DE Photo will be the official photographer at the festival. If you do not want pictures to be taken of your child, please notify your club representative beforehand – and also notify DE Photo on the day.
Are there toilets on site?
Yes, toilets are located in the main clubhouse.
Where is the first aid point?
St Johns Ambulance first aiders will be on hand to assist at the festival. They will be located at the corner of the touch in goal area close to the clubhouse.
What happens if I lose people at the festival?
If you become separated from your party at the festival, please make your way to the St Johns Ambulance tent as a meeting point.
Are dogs allowed at the festival?
Yes, dogs are welcome at the festival – on the strict proviso that they are kept on a lead at all times; and are not taken in to the clubhouse.
Are we allowed in the clubhouse once the event has finished?
Yes, everyone is welcome to join us in the clubhouse after the festival. The bar area will be open throughout the afternoon.
Are we allowed to bring a picnic or our own food?
Yes, you are very welcome to bring your own food and drink to the festival. Please note; the children playing in the festival will be provided with packed lunches from the clubhouse.
Can we use the changing rooms?
There are changing rooms in the main clubhouse – which can be used with parental supervision. Please do not leave items in the changing rooms – make sure all belongings are taken to the tented village area.
If the weather is unfavourable, there is an indoor bar area and a large function room within the clubhouse; which can be used for players to take their lunch.
Please take extra care when exiting vehicles – as these may be parked on grass surfaces; which may be slippery under foot.
Please do not allow anyone to enter the main first team pitch when arriving at the club. This has been marked up and set up ready for the first matches taking place. On arrival, please make your way to the second team pitch to set up your team base – or to the clubhouse area for refreshments and toilets.
